🎓 About the Fellowship

This TWAS‑S.N. Bose Postgraduate Fellowship is a collaboration between TWAS and India’s S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences, Kolkata. • Hold citizenship of a developing country (excluding India) and no existing residency visa in India or other developed countries.
• Possess an MSc (or equivalent) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Mathematics, including at least 5 years of combined UG and PG study.
• Secure a preliminary acceptance letter from a supervisor at S.N. Bose by 16 August 2025 (bose.res.in).
• Demonstrate English proficiency, intent to return home after fellowship, and no other commitments during the fellowship.

Selected fellows will receive:

1. Monthly stipend for living and food expenses (non-convertible).
2. Free on-campus housing provided by the institute.
